KEN comes to see NGOZI in her OFFICE and the LATTER apparently, very BUSY going through some FILES on the DESK as she simultaneously minutes on them.
KEN
My pretty woman! Always busy at work, how’re you doing?
NGOZI
I’m all right and you, prince charming?
KEN
Oh! Flatter me some more, baby! It’s been a long time I heard that from a beautiful woman like you.
NGOZI
You’re never serious ken! By the way, what brings you here so early?
KEN
Did I do anything wrong by coming to see the only woman in the world that gladdens my heart? Anyway, how was your weekend?
NGOZI
Oh! Splendid, I had an awesome time in the presence of God in church both Saturday and Sunday.

Good heavens! You mean, you spent both your Saturday and Sunday attending church services?
NGOZI
Yes and what’s wrong with that?
KEN
Honestly, darling, I think you’re being too fanatical about religion.
NGOZI
Listen, ken, I’m totally sold out to God and I think you should do the same too because we’re in perilous times and you never can tell what will happen next.
KEN
Come on baby! You’re too young for this kind of crap, anyway for me, I don’t think I really need God now perhaps when I’m old I will have time for him; right now is the time for me to have pleasure and have it even abundantly.
NGOZI
Ken, everybody needs God; young and old, rich or poor. For in him we live, move and have our being, please try and be close to him.
KEN
But for me, in pleasure, I live, move and have my being, you follow?
NGOZI
My God deliver you from destruction.
Ken bursts in laughter.
