FG Updates On 50 Infected Doctors, Health Workers In Kano
The federal government-owned Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano (AKTH) has given an update on health workers that tested positive for coronavirus.

AKTH said 40 out of the 50 infected doctors and health workers were now negative and have been discharged.

The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Abdurrahman Sheshe, disclosed this on Thursday.

“It is really a thing of joy to share the review on the test of workers infected by COVID-19 some weeks ago and put on isolation. 40 of them tested negative. No death recorded and no condition attached with the discharge”, he said.

The CMD added that the remaining 10 health workers were still in isolation and doing very well.

Sheshe expressed hope that they would be discharged before Eid Al Fitr.
