Two Immigration Officers Killed By Bandits In KatsinaBandits

Gun-wielding criminals suspected to be bandits have killed no fewer than two officers of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) in Kadobe village, Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State.

Sources who spoke to Africa Today News, New York stated that the officers lost their lives during an exchange of gunfire in the early hours yesterday.

‘The village has never been attacked in the past as a result of the NIS base, so the area was safe for a lot of herdsmen who migrated to the place with their animals.’

‘There were failed attempts by the gunmen to attack the place, but unfortunately, they attacked last night around 12:05 am and in their attempt to repel the attack, the immigration officers engaged them in a gun duel, as a result of which two lost their lives,’ a source said.
