Insecurity Buhari Is Not Safe From Kidnappers – Buba Galadima
Buba Galadima

Buba Galadima who is a former ally of President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that with the lingering insecurity in the country, it won’t be surprising to him if the number one citizen is kidnapped.

Galadima was reacting to the insecurity bedeviling the country in an interview with BBC Hausa service which was monitored by Africa Today News, New York.

He said, ‘These bandits are disdainful to Buhari administration. At the beginning of the government, everybody was scared of him (Buhari); expected him to be brave before he was now exposed to be toothless.

‘Buhari knows nothing, he can’t do anything, that is why you see government officials are siphoning billions from public property and nobody can stop them.’

Galadima added that if terrorists can have access to break Kuje prison, Buhari himself is not safe.

He said, ‘If care is not taken, sooner or later Buhari too can be kidnapped considering the way security issues are ignored.

‘The only option available now is to either continue praying or arm ourselves for protection but if we depend on this government, definitely we will be killed.’

Africa Today News, New York recalls that panic had gripped Nigerians a few days ago after a splinter terrorist group in the North West which has been identified as one of the factions of the ISWAP openly threatened to kidnap the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari and murder the remaining train victims.

The unknown terrorists had made the threat in a fresh video which had surfaced where they were captured flogging some of their captives.

This threat is coming a few weeks after the convoy of Buhari was attacked in Katsina State.

In the new viral video, the daredevil terrorists, who had recently attacked the Kuje prison in Abuja and freed their members locked up in the Correctional Centre, were threatening the country’s number one citizen and Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State.

The terrorists, who had also kidnapped over 60 passengers of the Abuja-Kaduna bound train on March 28, are also threatening to kill those remaining in their captive and also boasting to destroy the country.

In the viral video, one of the terrorists said that unless the government complied with their demands, they would turn the area into an abattoir.
