How APC Plans To Win 2023 Presidential Elections – Buratai
Tukur Buratai

A former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Tukur Buratai, has asserted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is the party to beat ahead of the 2023 general election.

The retired General boasted that the APC has all it took to win the elections and will surely win the polls.

Buratai made these assertions while speaking at the Progressives Young Leaders Summit in Abuja on Monday.

He urged youths to encourage voters to support the APC so as to secure their future and boost Nigeria’s growth.

‘You must mobilise the electorate to ensure that they come out en masse to vote for the right candidate’.

‘I believe you know who I am referring to. The APC with the good support of the youth is the party to beat,’ he was quoted as saying.

Buratai further advised young citizens to be actively involved in the development process of the country.

Former Chief of Air Staff, Marshal Abubakar Sadique said youths can not afford to take the back seat ahead of 2023.

Meanwhile, Bola Tinubu has called on party members in the Northeast to do more for him to ensure that he wins the 2023 elections.

He made this call in Gombe on Saturday when he spoke during the wedding reception of Misbahu Yahaya, son of Governor Inuwa Yahaya.

The former Lagos governor reminded APC followers that his running mate, Kashim Shettima, hails from the region.

Tinubu thanked party members and supporters for what they have been doing for him.

‘Now that your son is equally the running mate you have to double your efforts, and you have to do more.

‘I challenge you to do more than what you have done in the past’, he was quoted as saying.

President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan described the North-East as Tinubu’s second zone after the South-West.

Shettima said political activities would soon commence, adding that, ‘the North-East is an APC domain more so one of you is a running mate.’

Tinubu had recently expressed strong confidence in the leadership of the national chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, saying that he (Adamu) will drive him to Aso Rock.
