London giants, Chelsea picked up their first UEFA Champions League win this season on Wednesday night as they comfortably thrashed AC Milan 3-0 at Stamford Bridge to restore their champions league hopes.
Injured Wesley Fofana drew the first blood by opening scoring for the Blues in the 26th minute before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang doubled the advantage in the 56th minute, grabbing his second goal in a Chelsea shirt.
English international, Recce James went on to complete the rout with a rocket of a shot into the roof of the net in a night that saw Chelsea get every move right.

The victory sees Chelsea move up to second position with one point behind leaders, RB Salzburg who are on five points.
Three weeks ago, Red Bull Salzburg spoiled Garry Potters’s first match in charge of Chelsea after a late equaliser earned them a 1-1 draw in the second group game.
Potter was on course for a winning debut when Raheem Sterling put Chelsea ahead early in the second half at Stamford Bridge.

It was a largely underwhelming performance from Chelsea, underlining the work Potter must do to repair the flaws in the expensively assembled squad left behind by Tuchel.
