We'll Save Nigeria For Future Generations: Atiku
We Will Save Nigeria

The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has stated that the PDP has to work together to fight and win the 2023 general election.

When books were presented to him on Wednesday in Abuja to commemorate the launch of the party’s presidential campaign and the Presidential Campaign Council, Atiku Abubakar made this statement (PCC).

He said the mission before the party was to unite and reconstruct the country, and he added that it was a duty that had to be accomplished.

‘But to rescue our nation, we must take over the mantle of leadership, from the leadership that has gotten us into this mess.

‘We must therefore be united and come together to fight and win all the elections next year.

“We must rescue this nation for the sake of us, the sake of our children, and for the sake of generation yet unborn, ‘he said.

Additionally, he pointed out that the PCC was a general election council, not just a campaign council, and that it would guarantee a resounding victory for all of the party’s candidates in the 2023 election.

He said that as experienced politicians, it is their responsibility to steer clear of the “muddy waters” of politics and to successfully run for and win elections.

The party’s vice presidential candidate, Delta Governor Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, stated in a similar vein, “Our product is a good product, and our candidate has made a lot of promises.

We are blessed to have a man that has a contract and a commitment with Nigerians, thank God.

‘I challenge all other candidates for president to show their credentials to Nigerians.

“Appearing on television alone is insufficient. They must present their plans to Nigerians so that they can be evaluated on them.

Working with a government that has a plan for our success is my promise to Nigerians, he said.

According to NAN, three volumes detailing the PDP presidential candidate’s life and some of his contributions to national development were given out.

The books’ names include The Story of Atiku Abubakar, Landmark Constitutional Law Cases on Nigeria (2004-2007), and Restructuring As Pathway to Unity and Development, according to NAN.

Remember that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) set September 28 as the formal day for political parties to launch their campaigns.

During the announcement, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, Chairman of INEC, stated that this was in accordance with Section 94(1) of the Electoral Act 2022.
